Investment Professional
 

I declare that I am an investment professional for the purposes of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (Financial Promotion) Order 2005.

I am an investment professional because at least one of the following applies:

1. a.I am a person authorised under FSMA (e.g. an IFA, stockbroker, private wealth manager or fund manager authorised and regulated by the FCA);

2. I am not an authorised person but:

   •  my ordinary activities involve me in carrying on the activity of investing in investments such as bonds or property development for the purpose of a business carried on by me; or

   •  it is reasonable to expect I will invest in bonds or property development for the purposes of a business carried on by me;

3. I represent a government, local authority (whether in the United Kingdom or elsewhere) or an international organisation; and

4. I am a person (“A”) who is a director, officer or employee of a person (“B”) falling within any of sections 2.2.1 to 2.2.3 above where the communication is made to A in that capacity and where A's responsibilities when acting in that capacity involve him in the carrying on by B of investment activities.
